Ketuban pecah dini (KPD) adalah pecahnya ketuban sebelum melahirkan waktunya atau inpartu, pada pembukaan <4 cm atau (fase laten). Menurut World Health Organization (WHO) tahun 2016 memperkirakan diseluruh dunia setiap tahunya lebih dari 585.000 ibu meninggal saat hamil atau saat bersalin. Salah satu penyebab kematian ibu tersebut adalah infeksi yang dapat disebabkan oleh ketuban pecah dini. Ketuban pecah dini merupakan komplikasi kehamilan 10% kehamilan aterm dan 4% kehamilan preterem. Angka kejadian KPD didunia mencapai 12,3% dari total persalin sebagian besar KPD terjadi dinegara berkembang asia. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui adanya hubungan umur dan paritas ibu hamil dengan ketuban pecah dini di RSU Bandung Medan. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah survey analitik dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah semua ibu hamil yang mengalami ketuban pecah dini di RSU Bandung Medan Tahun 2017 sebanyak 45 orang dengan pengambilan sampel menggunakan total populasion dengan teknik pengumpulan data dari rekam medik. Hasil penelitian ini di uji dengan chi square dengan tingkat kepercayaan 95% dimana α=0,05. Didapat pada variabel umur dengan nilai p=0,036<0,05. Pada paritas dengan nilai p=0,030<0,05. Sehingga dapat diartikan bahwa ada hubungan umur dan paritas ibu hamil dengan ketuban pecah dini di RSU Bandung Medan. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah hubungan umur, paritas, dengan ketuban pecah dini (KPD) di RSU Bandung Medan. Diharapkan kepada ibu merencanakan kehamilan di usia reproduksi sehat dan memakai kontrasepsi untuk membatasi jumlah anak sehingga ibu dapat terhindar dari resiko kesehatan yang mungkin terjadi
Deskripsi Alternatif :Premature rupture of membranes (KPD) is rupture of membranes before the time of delivery or in part, at the opening of <4 cm or (latent phase). According to the World Health Organization (WHO) in 2016 estimates the world over every year more than 585,000 mothers die during pregnancy or during childbirth. One of the causes of maternal death is an infection that can be caused by premature rupture of membranes. Early rupture of membranes is a complication of 10% pregnancy at term pregnancy and 4% preterem pregnancy. World KPD incidence reached 12.3% of total persalin most of the KPD occurs in developing Asia. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between age and parity of pregnant women with premature rupture of membranes in Bandung Medan Hospital.The research design used was analytic survey with cross sectional approach. The population in this study were all pregnant women who experienced premature rupture of membranes in Bandung Medan General Hospital in 2017 as many as 45 people with sampling using a total population with data collection techniques from medical records.The results of this study were tested by chi square with a 95% confidence level where α = 0.05. Obtained at the age variable with a value of p = 0.036 <0.05. In parity with a value of p = 0.030 <0.05. So it can be interpreted that there is a relationship between age and parity of pregnant women with premature rupture of membranes in RSU Bandung Medan.The conclusion of this research is the relationship of age, parity, with premature rupture membrane (KPD) at RSU Bandung Medan. It is expected that mothers plan pregnancy at a healthy reproductive age and use contraception to limit the number of children so that mothers can avoid the health risks that might occur
