LatarBelakang :Kelas ibu hamil salah satu bentuk pendidikan prenatal yang dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan ibu hamil dan perubahan perilaku positif sehingga ibu diharapkan memeriksakan kehamilan dan melahirkan ke tenaga kesehatan. Kelas ibu hamil dilakukan 4 kali selama kehamilan. Tujuan: Untuk mengetahui apa-apa saja faktor yang berhubungan dengan keikutsertaan kelas ibu hamil di Desa Pasar Batahan Tahun 2018. Metode :Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah survei analitik dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Populasi adalah seluruh ibu hamil trimester III yang berada di Puskesmas Medan Deli Tahun 2016 sebanyak 31 orang dengan teknik total populasi, dengan data primer dan data sekunderdengan menggunakan analisis univariat dan bivariat. Hasil :Dari 31 responden (100%), Pengetahuan responden mayoritas berpengetahuan kurang sebanyak 12 responden (38,7%), Umur yang beresiko sebanyak 18 responden (58,1%), yang bekerja sebanyak 20 responden (64,5%), dengan paritas multigravida sebanyak 17 responden 54,8%) dan diperoleh ada hubungan pengetahuan dan umur, dan tidak ada hubungan pekerjaan dan paritas dengan keikutsertaan kelas ibu hamil. Kesimpulan:Faktor yang berhubungan dengan keikutsertaan pelaksanaan kelas ibu hamil adalah pengetahuan dan umur. Diharapkan bagi ibu hamil mengikuti kelas ibu hamil secara rutin agar dapat mengenali secara dini bahaya pada masa kehamilan.
Deskripsi Alternatif :Background :Pregnant women class is a learning facility with pregnant women in order to obtain sufficient knowledge to prevent complications, increase the coverage of visits for pregnant women, and deliver labor to health workers. Pregnant women class meetings are held 4 times during pregnancy. Purpose :The aim of the research is to find out what are the factors related to the participation of pregnant women in the Pasar Batahan Village in 2018. Methods : The research design was analitycal survey with a cross-sectional approach. The populations in this study were all maternal third trimester as many as 31people. Sample from the study were 31 people with a total population. Data collection tecnique with primary and secondary data analysis were performed by univariate analysis and bivariate analysis using chi-square.Result :From 31 respondents of the majority of pregnant motherâs knowledge answered with the number of sog p = 0.016, the frequency of the majority who worked with the number of sig p = 0.842, the frequency of the majority primigravida with a number of sig p = 0.667. There is relasionship between knowledge and age, and there is no employment relationship and parity with the maternal participation.Conclusion : The factors associated with the participation of the implementation of maternal classes are knowledge and age. It is expected that pregnant women attend classes for pregnant women on a regular basis so that they recognize early danger during pregnancy,
